A ramble runs on. Interrupt it aloud — entering on a word the speaker just said, so the cut reads as attention rather than impatience.
A good rep
- Enter on their word. “Hold on — the founders?” not “Let me stop you.”
- One sentence. The interruption is a door, not a speech.
- A live word. Enter where the material is, not merely where a pause happens.
