Name the Difference
Two people differ. Before you host the difference, diagnose it: a claim has a crux, a perspective gets a tour, taste gets a stall. Name the kind out loud, then speak the host line that fits it.
A good rep
- Diagnosis first. The kind is named aloud before the line — claim, perspective, or taste.
- The line matches the kind. A crux-hunting question after "taste" is a failed rep, however elegant.
- Nobody is convicted. The line invites both voices onward; it doesn't rule for either.
